COONAWARRA CELLAR DWELLERS (CLimestone Coast)
1-31 July
July is the perfect time to book yourself into a snug Coonawarra B&B, relax in one of South Australia’s most beautiful wine regions and indulge your tastebuds. Throughout July, wineries right along the Limestone Coast’s famed terra rossa strip will be throwing open their cellar doors for tastings and sales of past vintages. It’s a chance for a warm and welcoming retreat from the winter chills, and a real treat for wine lovers.

MARREE CAMEL CUP (Flinders Ranges and Outback)
9-10 July
Catch a very South Aussie spectacle as the camels kick up their hooves and pick up some serious speed in pursuit of the Marree Cup. Marree is the home of the legendary Afghan cameleers, and this event gives visitors the opportunity to experience their unique outback culture. Watch the thrills and spills of 13 camel races, see Afghan descendants in traditional dress, taste their food, visit the photo and memorabilia exhibition, take a camel ride and enjoy the live music. For the kids there are novelty events on offer including pony rides, donkey races, and a lolly toss.

TOYOTA RALLY SA (Barossa)
19-20 August
Rev-heads rejoice! Australia's most popular and spectator-friendly round of the Australian Rally Championships is on again amid the vineyards of South Australia's Barossa wine region. It’s three days of spectacular jumps, water crossings and amazing sideways, sliding, flat-out rally action from the best in the business. Powering up at picturesque Tanunda, then speeding through the forests of Mount Crawford, this year’s race promises to be chock-a-block with speed, noise and excitement. So make sure you’re trackside to catch all the action as the big names battle it out in their factory prepared four-wheel drive, turbo-charged machines.

GAWLER SHOW (Barossa)
26-27 August
You don’t have to drive far from the heart of Adelaide to reach the largest two-day country show in the state. Enjoy a line-up of family favourites, including show jumping, wood chopping, sideshows, rides, a grand parade, show bags and an animal nursery at the Gawler Show. The kids can get their face painted, while the adults indulge in some gourmet food and wine tastings. Then the whole family can enjoy the live music on Saturday night, featuring country singer Beccy Cole.

ROYAL ADELAIDE SHOW
1-9 September
Roll up for all the colour, fun and excitement of this iconic Adelaide event. Scare yourself silly on the Mad Mouse roller coaster, marvel at the fireworks or make friends with a piglet at the Farmyard Nursery. There’s live music and entertainment, old favourites like dressage and wood chopping to enjoy in the main arena, plus a whole hall full of showbags to delight the kids.

OYSTERFEST (Eyre Peninsula)
29 September - 1 October
Ceduna shows off its country hospitality during this fabulous festival. If you go for the fine fresh seafood, you’ll want to stay for the music, dance and parties. Kicking off with a colourful opening celebration on Saturday morning, the Oysterfest celebrations don’t let up until the final evening of festivities. Adults will love the array of concerts and gourmet treats, while kids are well catered for with story telling, hands-on workshops and competitions.
